こんにちはガイドのキシです。

晴れ間が続いてそろそろ降雪の欲しいニセコですが今日は数センチの降雪と爆風、もちろんリフトはあまり動いてない厳しい状況でしたが山に行ってきました。

お客様はリーピーターの方々でしたので状況を説明して雪の期待はせずにハイクしてきましたが予想を裏切るいい雪でした。

まだまだ歩けばなんとかパウダー滑れますよ！

Hello this is Kishi.

We wanted new snow, but only a few centimeter of fresh snow.

Lift situation was tough in the resort, slow moving due to wind. So we went to the backcountry today.

There was no expectation of snow for todays hike. Our customers are many time repeat clients.

It was good, the snow exceeded expectations today.

There is powder out there if you walk more!

今日はニセコ町で今年最高気温を記録し、本当に春が来たのかと思いました。

今日はお客さんは外国人の方２名、日本人の方４名の６名のツアー！

スキー場内はどこも雪は悪く、とてもパウダーを滑るこができない感じ。

そこで今日はTHE NORTH FACE滑ることになりました。

雪質は"パウダー"。

お客さんもみんな満足そうで良かったです。

こんな暖かい日でも楽しく滑ることか出来るので

これから春になりますがツアー参加お待ちしております。

Chisenupuri Hike Tour

It was the highest recorded Spring temperature in Niseko today.

The six clients today were two foreigner's and four Japanese people!

Everywhere in the resort was bad snow condition, we had the feeling we cannot ride powder.

So it was decided to hike THE NORTH FACE today.

Powder snow it was!

It was a good group and everyone was so happy.

Temperatures were warm like Spring but snow is still good.

Spring is starting and we are waiting for new tour reservations.

パウダーカンパニー門下生の石本諒です。

本日は7名のゲストと共に、ガイド研修として羊蹄山ツアーに同行させて頂きました。

ニセコは先週末から気温が上昇し、しばらく降雪のない状況でした。

羊蹄山のハイクポイントにはスキーヤー・スノーボーダーが大勢いて、斜面もトラックだらけ。

そんな状況の中、メインガイド山田誠がメンツルオープンバーンに案内してくれました！

雲一つない青空の下で、羊蹄山特有の雰囲気を感じながらのハイクアップはとても心地良く、アンヌプリを一望できる斜面でのライディングとKageさんによるPhotoSessionは最高でした。

そしてなにより、ツアーに参加した全員と最高な時間を共有できたことに感謝、感謝。

本当に楽しい時間でした。

またまた貴重な経験をさせていただきまして、ありがとうございます。

Hi There!

This is the Powder Company student Ryo Ishimoto.

Along with seven guests and guides I accompanied the tour Mt Yotei hike for training today.

Temperatures have risen since the end of last week, Niseko has had no fresh snow from end of last week.

There are many skiers and snowboarders hiking Mt Yotei.

But Makoto guides us to a fresh open slope without any tracks.

We hike up and there are no clouds only blue sky, which is a special feeling for Mt Yotei.

Kage PHOTO SESSION is fantastic.

Thank you to everyone who came, it was so good to be able to share this special time.

It was really fun.

It was a wonderful experience, thank you once again!

ハイクツアーで山頂へ。

登る準備をしていたら、雪の表面がキラキラ！

表面霜という雪の表面にできる霜でした。

この霜の上に雪が積もると表面雪崩の原因となるそうです。

天気も良く、最高の雪と景色で大満足な１日でした☆

2月に入って何度目か分からなくなってしまいましたが今日もTHE DAY！

 太陽ギラギラでハイクは脱ぐ服がなくなるほど暑かったー。

初ハイクの皆さんもがんばってピークまで行けました！

ながーい滑走距離とワンターンセッションも楽しめ、

帰って来てから飲むビールが最高!

Today was another great February DAY!

It was so hot we had to take off layers hiking with bright sun glare.

It is our client’s first backcountry hike tour so we will go to the peak, you can do it!!!

We enjoyed one long run and a photo turn session.

Cool beer on return to POWDER COMPANY tastes great!
