Q. How many guides will accompany me on a backcountry tour?
A.

Two guides accompany you: a leader guide and a tail guide. Basically, when skiing down the slope, the leader guide is the first to ski, and informs the tail guide about the snow and slope conditions, and the tail guide explains to the customers today's conditions, things to be careful of, and how to enjoy the slope.
At Powder Company, we have adopted a two-guide system since our founding. In addition to ensuring safety, we are working hard to ensure that our customers can enjoy long-distance skiing.
