Takafumi Kuroda

Born February 2nd, 1991 in Sapporo
The first time I experienced snowboarding was during the winter vacation of the 5th grade of elementary school.
I went skiing with my family when I was 3 years old, and saw snowboarders there.
After that, I was so addicted to snowboarding, and I would take a train and carry a heavy board on my back to the ski resort after school.
I loved to go to Niseko or Rusutsu to enjoy the finest powder on the weekends.
An acquaintance invited me to a snowboard cross competition, and I started competing during my high school days.
After graduating from university and getting a job, I could only go snowboarding on weekends.
After three years of employment, I decided to quit my job and move to Niseko, a powder heaven where I used to come every winter.
My values and concepts about snowboarding have totally changed since I came to Niseko.
I wanted to capture a moment on the mountain for my friends, so I picked up a camera.
It's pretty natural for me to be a photographer.
I take photos that will remain in the customer's "memory" and "record" in the PHOTO SEESION.
